Being an independent practice, we can choose which contact lens is going to be the best choice for that patients’ individual needs. Whether it is contact lenses for everyday wear or for occasional wear such as sporting activities or events we will have something to suit you.
We are not tied to a particular contact lens manufacturer and can source contact lenses from a range of quality providers depending on the patients’ prescriptions and visual needs.
Our contact lens range is endless but includes contact lenses for differing wearing modalities such as daily disposable, 2 weekly or monthly and for different prescriptions such as Toric contact lenses to correct for astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses to correct for both distance vision and near vision simultaneously.
Some of our most popular brands of contact lenses are Johnson & Johnson, Alcon, Bausch & Lomb and Cooper Vision.
Annual contact lens checks need to be done to ensure safe and healthy wear. We cannot supply lenses to anyone with an out of date test or lens check.
If you are interested in and would like to see if you would be suitable candidate for contact lenses, please ask us for more information.
You will need to have an up-to-date eye test and we can then book in for a contact lens trial. This will include assessing which contact lens type you require, fitting the contact lenses for you to check the vision and then teaching you to insert and remove your contact lenses confidently and safely.
Some people need more than one teach appointment before they can take lenses home to begin their trial, don’t be disappointed or discouraged if this is the case. Patience is key!
