Sustainability

As a practice, we have many eco-friendly initiatives to try and reduce our environmental impact.

This year (2023) we were so pleased to be awarded the Silver Award in The Greener Primary Care Wales Framework and Award Scheme. This is something that we have worked towards and involves us becoming more sustainable as a practice. Some actions we were already doing, but by joining and becoming part of it, it has enabled us to think about how we change the way we do things.

Some examples include switching to paperless patient files, sending digital reminders / correspondence, recycling old spectacles and used contact lenses.

Changing all our light bulbs to LED bulbs.

Turning off devices at the end of the day rather than leaving them on standby.

UPDATE DEC 2021:

We are taking bookings for Eye Examinations, Contact Lenses and Collections.

All visits to the practice are by appointment only and need to be pre-booked before arrival.

For the safety of our staff and patients, we have a restricted number of people in the practice. This enables us to sanitise the practice between each patient and allow safe distancing inside.

Due to the continuing situation, our clinic capacity is lower than it was previously, but we endeavour to see you as soon as possible.

We are open Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm & Saturday 9.00am – 4.00pm. Please leave a voicemail if we are unable to answer.
